To earn the 2 credits, you'll need to complete a project and submit a report. The project allows you to apply what you've learnt in a practical way and helps you to deepen your understanding of the course material. You're welcome to choose a project that interests you, as long as it's relevant to the course content. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure that everything runs smoothly:

Project topic: Your project must be related to the course material and should build on the concepts and skills you've learned. You're free to explore any topic that interests you, as long as it remains relevant to the course.

Before you start: Please inform us of your chosen project topic before you start your work. This will help us to ensure that your project is on track and in line with the course objectives.

Time commitment: You should spend a minimum of six hours working on your project, including research, data collection, analysis and report writing.

Report submission: Write your report in markdown format (e.g. GDA25_FirstName_LastName_Report.md). The report should include all figures, data visualisations and code used during your project. In addition to the markdown file, please submit a rendered HTML version of your report (e.g. GDA25_FirstName_LastName_Report.html).

Honesty and realism: We don't expect your project to be a flawless success. In fact, we value honesty about the challenges and setbacks you faced. Sharing what worked and what didn't is an important part of the learning experience.

Deadline: The final report must be submitted by 7 July 2025. Late submissions may not be accepted, so please plan your time accordingly.

Feedback: We'll review your report carefully and provide feedback if you wish. If you'd like feedback, please let us know when you submit your report.
