Project

To earn the 2 ECTS credits, you'll need to complete a project and submit a written report. The project is an opportunity to apply what you've learned in a practical way and to deepen your understanding of the course material.
Please follow the guidelines below to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Project topic You're free to choose any topic that interests you, as long as it builds on the concepts and skills covered in the course.
Before you start Please let us know your chosen topic before you begin. This helps us make sure your project is on track and in line with the course objectives.
Time commitment You should spend a minimum of six hours on your project, including research, data collection, analysis and report writing.
Report submission Write your report in Markdown format (e.g. GDA26_FirstName_LastName_Report.md). The report should include all figures, data visualisations and code used during your project. Please also submit a rendered HTML version (e.g. GDA26_FirstName_LastName_Report.html).
Honesty and realism We don't expect your project to be a flawless success. We value honesty about the challenges and setbacks you faced along the way. Sharing what worked and what didn't is an important part of the learning experience.
Deadline The final report must be submitted by 7 July 2026. Late submissions may not be accepted, so please plan your time accordingly.
Feedback We'll review your report carefully. If you'd like feedback, please let us know when you submit.
